Our Opal or Opal Wood are from near-surface deposit which formed by hydrothermal waters of silicic volcanic origin. Indonesia, country of many volcanous supported the process of wood turned to stone.

This fossilization done in more then Ten Thousand Years without disturbances, both by climate and geological activities.

The Indonesians called it Batu Sempur or Sempur Stone.
At the beginning, it is a prehistorical wood which turned into stone.
